As of December 20, 2020 the Coronavirus vaccines approved by the FDA under its Emergency Use Authorization is only available to hospitals and long-term care facilities during Phase 1a of the distribution plan.
Phase 1b, which will include the vaccination of essential workers is expected to begin in Late January 2021. Middletown Family Pharmacy expects to receive our distribution of vaccine during the first shipments for this phase.
The final rules and restrictions for vaccination during Phase 1b have not been finalized. We will provide more information when it is available.
